MASSETO
Ornellaia's Toscana IGT Masseto is considered one of the most prestigious wines in the world. It comes from a terroir with unique vocational characteristics. Obtained from pure Merlot grapes from the Masseto vineyard. Ruby colour, intense aromas of cherry and plum, with complex notes of dark chocolate and mushrooms, typical of great red wines. It is a wine that can remain in the cellar for over 15 years. On the palate it is pleasantly harmonious, fresh and round, satisfying. Excellent with red meats and mature cheeses.
Tenuta San Guido
Tenuta San Guido's Sassicaia Bolgheri DOC comes from a 75-hectare vineyard that is particularly vocated, with calcareous formations and a high stony content, hence the toponym 'sassicaia'. Ageing takes place in French oak barriques, for 24 months, with subsequent resting in the bottle. It is one of the most sought-after Italian wines in the world. Intense ruby red colour, hints of ripe red fruits, berries and cola, aromatic herbs and toasted almonds. It has a rich, compact taste and goes well with grilled meat, roast and fillet beef and traditional Tuscan dishes.
