Ageing takes place in French oak barriques, for 24 months, with subsequent resting in the bottle. It is one of the most sought-after Italian wines in the world. Intense ruby red colour, hints of ripe red fruits, berries and cola, aromatic herbs and toasted almonds. It has a rich, compact taste and goes well with grilled meat, roast and fillet beef and traditional Tuscan dishes.
