The Bolgheri Superiore Guado al Tasso of Marchesi Antinori can be considered an iconic wine of the Bolgheri terroir. It is produced on the estate of the same name near the medieval village of Bolgheri in the Maremma and is made from a blend of three international grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This ruby red Supertuscan presents itself on the nose with notes of rosemary and mint, nuances of red fruits and delicate hints of liquorice. The palate is very balanced, aromatic and persistent.
